About the customer
IVK LLC was created in January 2007, in the town of Gorodets. The main activity of the company is the production of automotive components (wiring harnesses) for VAZ vehicles. On 11 July 2012, Yazaki Corporation, Japan, announced the acquisition of IVK LLC and renamed it to Yazaki Volga LLC. Yazaki Corporation is a global leader in electrical components and accessories for the automobile industry. At present, Yazaki Volga’s principal customer in Russia is AvtoVAZ.
About the cooperation
Since day one, IVK LLC set a goal of becoming the key player in the production of roving assemblies. To achieve these ambitious plans, the company determined to increase in the production capacity as a priority of the manufacturing activity. Equipping of the manufacturing facilities had to be done in the shortest time possible. This was successfully achieved by Ostec. During the implementation of the project, Ostec’s specialists developed customised Emdep test systems, delivered and commissioned 15 automatic wire processing lines, carousel assembly lines, contact crimping presses, and applicators.
